Danica is a senior at Mills High School, going into her first year as a staff writer for The Mills Thunderbolt. She joined journalism hoping to stay more engaged with current events and improve her writing along the way. Although writing isn’t her biggest passion, she’s excited to be a part of this class and is looking forward to the fun memories and new experiences it may bring! For her positive and caring personality, she’s always open to exploring new interests and finds journalism as a great opportunity to step out there and try something new. On her own time, she enjoys playing sports, listening to music, and spending quality time with friends and family. After high school, Danica plans to attend college in hopes to pursue a career in either social work or animal care–two paths she feels deeply connected to and passionate about.
