Senai Rivas is a junior at Mills High School, entering her first year as a staff writer on the Thunderbolts team. She’s looking forward to learning how journalism works and hopes to gain an amazing experience while writing about topics she’s passionate about. Outside of school, she’s a film fanatic who loves writing and spending time with the people she cares about. Senai joined journalism to pursue her passion for writing in a new way. She wanted to experiment and try something that would push her out of her comfort zone. Her goal for the year is to enjoy herself and be part of a memorable team!
